Today was family day, and its crushes with my late grandfather prayer day (Chinese believe that on the 49th day of the descendant who passed away will be finally freed to reincarnate.) luckily, my family understand my situation as I'm part of the Family Day committee members who fork out lot's of time and effort for this day. and so I went off to YCK grassroots club early in the morning and reaches there around 8.30, registered myself in the counter and took coupon, lucky draw and my beloved self designed badge(APPRECIATE PEOPLE!). When i first entered the hall, i was daze by the surrounding! lot's of balloon, game stores, amazing free flow of pop corns/candy floss and a miniature stage with prizes. soon at 10, the event commences. magic show, games, and commercial entertainment was not the highlight of the event. it's the LUCKY DRAW that i believe most of the 6amBIAN is coming for. for bloody 2 years in 6AMB and going through plenty of such event. i never had a luck in winning any lucky draw prizes at all! not even the last few. the closure for the event was a group photo shoot. After seeing that event ended successfully, the members are awarded a letter of appreciation (will get the photo posted).
I hurried to hire a cab outside grassroots club to head down to Gelyan Lorang 4 for my late grandfather prayer. reached there and saw all my relative busy folding the paper ingot, the money "people" used underground. and thus i followed suit as we need 30 bags of fulled ingot ready by 7pm. 1 bag full is equivalent to the side of a big black plastic bag. we fold, fold and fold until late evening. then some miracles happened! the weather started to turn cloudy and dark. the monk predicted that it will rain and asked us to cut off all the folding and start praying and head down to burn the "items". everything ended when we reached Si Men Road and burned all the "items" and ingots.
look at the last picture, acting cute young and old!
teaches you how to post from 1 to 5! cool.
